Dorset Council’s Durlston Country Park in Swanage has received a grant of £35,400 from the Government’s £1.57 billion Culture Recovery Fund to help the organisation recover and reopen.
This Easter, Dorset Council are warning potential visitors to their Household Recycling Centres (HRCs, or “the tip”) to expect long delays, and are advising to postpone your “trip to the tip” if possible.
Dorset Council’s Scrutiny Committee will meet on 25 March to discuss recommendations to reduce the number of council-owned offices in Dorchester by using buildings more efficiently, offering annual savings of over half a million pounds.
Do not visit a household recycling centre (HRC, or “the tip”) right now unless your waste cannot be stored safely at home. This is the simple message that Dorset Council is using to help deal with rising visitor numbers.
