Restrictions for dogs on beaches to be enforced
Following the Government’s recent Coronavirus (Covid-19) guidelines to lift some of the restrictions Dorset Council will again be enforcing the restrictions for dogs that had previously been relaxed.

On many of the county’s beaches including Weymouth Beach, the start of the spring and summer restrictions for dogs will begin next week. These restrictions are contained within public spaces protection orders (PSPO) and look to protect public health.
