Over the last year there has been some interesting archaeology discoveries and some projects to improve some heritage sites in Dorset. Dorset Council’s Historic Environment Team has organised an evening webinar for the public to share some of the fascinating discoveries that showcase some recent projects.

During the lockdown, work has been progressing on the Roman Town House in Dorchester.
Dorset Council and its partners are celebrating after receiving a £248,000 grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund to improve physical access to the Dorchester Roman Town House and share its heritage with a much wider audience.
