A report recommending a 20-year lease of the South Walks House building in Dorchester to local NHS organisations will be discussed at Dorset Council’s Cabinet meeting on 7 December.
Dorset health organisations are working with Dorset Council to create a space for rapid access clinics in South Walks House, Dorchester, as part of a county-wide effort to tackle NHS waiting lists.
Dorset Council’s Scrutiny Committee will meet on 25 March to discuss recommendations to reduce the number of council-owned offices in Dorchester by using buildings more efficiently, offering annual savings of over half a million pounds.
