Redlands Update: Dorset Council has plan to keep buildings open
Dorset Council is delighted to share that we have a workable plan to keep Redlands Community Sports Hub in Weymouth open – which includes all the buildings.
Future of Redlands sports centre building not yet decided – Discussions continue
Cllr Laura Miller, Dorset Council’s Portfolio Holder for Customer and Community Services, has provided an update on Redlands and the current discussions around the future of the on-site sports centre.
The second round of the Community and Culture Project Fund has launched
The Dorset Council managed fund helps ‘not for profit’ community groups or cultural groups that are looking for funds. These groups can be museums, community, sports or arts organisations. The fund can award up to £5,000 towards a project.
