Following the award of contracts earlier in the year, Dorset Council has appointed Community Action Network (CAN) to be the local VCS infrastructure charity, focussing on empowering strong and resilient voluntary and community organisations in Dorset.
Dorset Council is thanking volunteers for the difference they make this Volunteers Week which runs from 1-7 June.
Grants are now available to help improve the lives of people living or working in Dorset.
Dorset Council is considering introducing a community lottery. This is part of the our aim to develop a support package for the voluntary and community organisations.
