A consultation has opened inviting residents, local MP’s, councillors and community groups within the Dorset Council area to have their say on the location and suitability of their polling station.
Dorset residents are being asked to check their electoral registration details are correct to make sure they retain their right to vote in future elections and referendums.
For the elections on 6 May, Dorset Council is putting in place many of the measures we’ve become used to over recent months.
Candidates standing in this year’s Police and Crime Commissioner elections and some town and parish council by-elections in Dorset have been published.

On Thursday 6 May 2021 residents in the Dorset Council area will go to the polls for the Police and Crime Commissioner elections and several town/parish council by-elections.
A reshuffle of Dorset Council’s Portfolio Holder responsibilities has been completed by the Leader of the Council, Cllr Spencer Flower.
