Our last two GP surgeries have in the past fortnight been enabled on to the MIG, meaning that information from all GP practices in Dorset is now available on the Dorset Care Record.
Figures from last month show that we’ve had no failed accesses for out of area patients, beyond our immediate borders, even further into Hampshire.
And for the first time we’ve had over 3,000 GP records accessed during a month – that’s equivalent to 100 a day during March.
Andy Hadley, Wessex Care Records solution architect, welcomed the development, saying the Healthcare Gateway figures showed a continued upward trend.
