At the NHS Dorset Patient Participation Group webinar last week, comms and engagement manager Tony McDougal and project manager Jodie Crowfoot gave participants a background to the care record including why it’s needed, how it works and the benefits for both patients and medical practitioners.
They also introduced the new patient portal myDCR, currently in pilot stage, which will enable patients to view information and interact with their health and care practitioners.
