How our shared care record is used by adult safeguarding triage workers

Gina Orgec completed the DCR training some years ago while working in the adult social work team at Dorset County Hospital.

However, it hasn’t been until recently that she has started using the shared care record more regularly in her current role as an adult safeguarding triage worker for Dorset Council.

Adult social workers benefitting from the Dorset Care Record

In our latest case study, Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council’s  Learning and Development officer Debbie Macaulay has been speaking to one of the council’s adult social workers about how they have been using the Dorset Care Record.

Demographics feeds for adults and Single Sign On from Dorset Council enter the Dorset Care Record

Dorset Council has this week become the first local authority to send demographic information as an electronic feed into the Dorset Care Record (DCR)

For the first time, information from the adults Mosaic system will feed in to the DCR, marking a major technical and organisational milestone for the health and social care record.
