We are nearing our target of having 5,000 trained users across our health and social care partners completing our mandatory training module on information sharing and security by the end of the year.

At present, we are just 400 short of the target and more sessions are planned for August (see below)

Meanwhile, it’s encouraging to have feedback on the e-course and our training manager Laura Bonner has collated some recent comments.

I really enjoyed (the) e-learning module – easy to follow, well written and videos were a really useful visual and learning tool.

Ease of use and succinct information giving and easier to do in workplace than having to wait for face-to-face training date.

Understanding the range of information that can be gathered from the system to support decision making regarding urgency of referral and underlying health issues that would need to be taken into account during assessment.

Providing a clear understanding of DCR and its uses as well as safe operating and use of system.

“The different sections, broken down into small chunks making it easier to learn the information.  The short video clips demonstrating the system and highlighting in red the parts of the screen to match what the instructor was saying.”
